Having been a patient of AHEC for over 25 years under the wonderful care of Dr. Cassen, I couldn’t be happier with the transition of all my eye care needs to Dr. Amelia Fong after her retirement. I recently underwent cataract surgery with Dr. Fong, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. From my initial consultation to the follow-up visits, Dr. Fong and her entire team were incredibly professional, warm, and attentive. My daughters were always telling me to open my eyes when we took pictures. Dr. Fong did a wonderful job lifting my eyelids so my eyes are open, and, I can see better. The surgery went exactly as she explained and I am very happy with the results! My husband is amazed at the difference.

I have been suffering from chronic dry eye for years and the drops, heating pads and other treatments were not working. My condition just kept getting worse and I was miserable. Dry eye really had a profound negative impact on my quality of life. Dr. Fong treated me with Optilight and I felt relief almost immediately - not total relief, but definitely a big difference. I continued to feel better over the week until one day I realized I had no symptoms. I followed up and continued to do monthly treatments over the next 4 months and things just kept getting better!
